The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s mission is to teach, engage, and inspire through the power of rock and roll.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s educational programs offer a deeper understanding of rock and roll’s impact. Our K-12 on-site Rockin’ the Schools interdisciplinary programs connect rock and roll to a variety of other content subjects, such as English Language Arts, History, Social Studies, and Science. The Toddler Rock programing uses music, taught by trained music therapists, to enhance Head Start children’s’ early literacy and communication skills. In partnership with Cuyahoga Community College, we teach college students the history of rock and roll from its origins to modern times. Our digital resources for teachers and scholars, combined with our Library and Archives, are the most comprehensive sources for rock and roll materials and information. Programs serve Pre-school, K-12, and collegiate students, and general museum visitors, and reach 16,000 to 23,000 students per year.
