We are the “People’s University,” the center of learning for a diverse and inclusive community. Cleveland Public Library strives to be the driving force behind a powerful culture of learning that inspires Clevelanders from all walks of life to continually learn, share and seek out new knowledge in ways that are beneficial to themselves, their community and the world.

Cleveland Public Library fosters lifelong learning from early literacy programs for infants/toddlers and preschool-age children to enrichment opportunities for elders and everyone in between, including K-12 and college students, teachers, families, adult learners, those who read and learn for pleasure, and researchers of all types. We serve approximately 3 million people.
