Mission: Our mission is to build social awareness, confidence and self-esteem in children through the practice of social dance. Dancing Classrooms Northeast Ohio (DCNEO) provides a 10 week – 20 session social development program, Dancing Classrooms, for 5th & 8th grade children that utilizes ballroom dancing as a vehicle to change the lives of not only the children who participate in the program, but also the lives of the teachers and parents who support these children. Dancing Classrooms isn't a dancing program; Dancing Classrooms is a social development program that utilizes ballroom dancing as the tool to generate social change in the participants.

Education Programs: The Dancing Classrooms Residency Project is the only program that DCNEO provides; we focus on this single highly effective program, which allows us to maximize program impact on student participants, guarantee judicious use of available funding support, and complete thorough program evaluation.
